The three-cylinder dryer is a new generation of high efficiency dryer which is developed and produced based on digesting and absorbing foreign advanced drying technology, its advanced removable structure achieves leading domestic level, the unique scatter material device ensure the perfect drying effect. This dryer is mainly used in cement industrial production for drying of clay, coal, slag, gangue, mixture, fly ash, gypsum, iron powder etc; Also applies for drying of  dry mortar, yellow sand, phosphate fertilizer, fertilizer production raw materials and metallurgical casting industry bulk material.

Working Principle:

The three-cylinder dryer is a combination of three concentric cylinder with different diameter. The three concentric cylinder is set of fold according to heat exchange mathematical relationship and structure. There are special material plate in every cylinder with different angles and space. This structure can guarantee the drying material move along the spiral direction under the action of gravity and thrust, and enough time to stay and  sufficient scatter. This  make the material exchange the heat with the heat flow in the fuel room, and eliminate the defects caused by the “wind tunnel”phenomenon of conventional drying quipment cross-section.The special three tube structure make the inner cylinder surrounded by outer barrel, which form a heat preservation system itself. The heat send out from the surface of inner and center tube participate in the  heat exchange of material in outer cylinder. But the outer tube is in the low temperature of heat flow, and the cooling area and heat energy loss decrease obviously. The equipment can make full use of heat, reduce heat loss, and increase heat transfer area, then make the dryer unit volume evaporation strength increase greatly, and improve the utilization rate of heat energy, reduce energy consumption, and the thermal efficiency of three-cylinder dryer get a dramatic increase.

When it works, The material and hot air enter the dryer from the feeding end, then the hot exchange happens fully under the function of spiral angle scatter plate. Material moves to another end, then enter the middle cylinder. Material is elevated and scattered evenly to the stripper plate outside the cylinder. As the cylinder rotates, the material flow to the end of middle cylinder slowly, then enter the outside cylinder. And the flow happens again. At the same time, the material is radiated by the hot from the middle cylinder. The water is evaporated to the output hole. Finally, the material is discharged from the lock wind valve. The exhaust gas is discharged from the exit hole after the dedusting.

During the material process, the material is dryed directly by the  hot air in one cylinder, meanwhile it is also dryed indirectly by the heat from another cylinder. The low temperature of outer cylinder plays heat insulation and moisturizing effects to the inner  cylinder. Material in the inner and middle cylinder exchanges heat with the hot air by main  ways of  radiation and convective heat transfer. In the inside of the outer cylinder, the hot  air’s temperature is lower and be with high humidity, material on the ektexine of the middle  cylinder exchange heat by ways of heat conduction and convection simultaneously.
